Malware warning about PFB from Kaspersky Labs

We get frequent information about false alarms from Kaspersky antivirus software about our program, even blocking automatic updates.

First things first: ParaFlightBook is not malware, and no other antivirus software has a problem here! To be safe you can always upload the executables to  virustotal.com where more than 50 virus checkers run against it…

Kaspersky offers us a whitelist program which requires a lot of work from our side as well as the delivery of sensible business information. We will not do that to a russia company, period.

Our suggestions are:

1. define an exception for FB.EXE
2. disable heuristic file analysis (mostly useless anyway)
3. use some decent antivirus software as i.e. included in Microsoft Windows itself
